Atlas Rigging & Transfer is involved in a multi-phased install project at the Danone West Jordan, Utah plant. The project started on February 3rd as the team unloaded three trucks, starting with a yogurt filler line.

Prior to unloading, Atlas laid out several 1-inch steel plates to prevent damaging the asphalt from the 44,092-pounds filler machine.  The filler dimensions were 486-inches long by 100-inches wide by 121-inches tall.

With the help of a 120-ton crane, the team unloaded the main filler unit, uncrated the equipment, and moved it into the building using our machinery skates and Power Johnson bars (pusher). Once the filler was placed, the Atlas crew leveled and removed all shipping beams. The process also involved uncrating the remaining equipment, rigging it into building, and installing platforms, a catwalk, and other components.
